Wanted: Wastewater Operator

The Mechanic Falls Sanitary District has an immediate opening for a wastewater treatment operator. Applications are available at the District’s office located at 56 Lewiston Street, Mechanic Falls, Maine 04256, or you can mail in your resume.  The successful candidate will be responsible for sampling and performing various tests related to the treatment of wastewater. This position includes on-call duties and weekend coverage on a rotational basis. The successful candidate must be able to pass a Grade 1, State of Maine Wastewater Treatment license within two years after hiring. We are willing to train the ideal person. Salary: Contingent on experience. A valid Maine driver’s license is required.
