Class Description:
The Emerging Contaminants Wastewater training will provide insights into PFAS removal technology, using the Anson-Madison Sanitary system as an example, which is ECT2's pilot project. The session will also touch on the impact of microplastics on health and water systems.

Patrick McKeown, PE – ECT2
Mr. McKeown began his career in the environmental engineering field, focusing on wastewater and stormwater design. Mr. McKeown then joined ECT2 as an engineer on the design and fabrication team, building and operating systems treating PFAS contaminated water on project sites around the globe. After earning his Professional Engineering license in Maine, he transitioned to the business development team, where he currently manages the Solid Waste, Industrial Manufacturing and Aviation PFAS Treatment markets. He lives in Gorham with his wife, two children, and dog Daisy.
Heather Jennings - Director for Huma Environmental, Huma Inc.
Chemical Engineer with experience in project management, environmental programs, water facility system analysis, and design for both municipal water and wastewater systems. Currently supporting wastewater systems through technical sales and engineering support. Experience with Industrial wastes such as automotive, pulp and paper and semiconductor. Commercial food processing, including live stock wastewater systems.
Additional experience in pipeline conveyance design and experience in obtaining permits on both state and federal levels.
