NON-LIABILITY POLICY

By participating in the outdoor training classes organized by Maine Rural Water Association (MRWA), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risk: You understand that outdoor training activities, including those related to water utilities, inherently involve risks such as injury, illness, or property damage due to environmental conditions, equipment use, physical exertion, or unforeseen circumstances. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities.
  2. Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless MRWA, its employees, agents, contractors, and instructors from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with your participation in the training classes, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
  3. Health and Fitness: You confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the training activities and that you have no medical conditions or restrictions that would prevent you from safely engaging in such activities. It is your responsibility to notify the instructor of any relevant health concerns prior to participation.
  4. Equipment and Safety: While every effort will be made to ensure a safe and supportive environment, you are responsible for following all safety instructions and guidelines provided by the instructors. MRWA does not assume responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or damage arising from failure to adhere to safety protocols.

By enrolling in and participating in these outdoor training classes, you agree to the terms of this non-liability clause.
